This is the usual fine Hohner sound, small, easy to carry, and on key. Great price!

First of all, i am a new harp player. This is my second harp, my first was a very cheap china harp that was very hard to play. This harp sound very nice is easy to play and it cost almost nothing. I recomend 100%. It is a very good deal. I bought it from the instrument store, here in amazon.

Our 18-month old son was given this harmonica as a gift by his Grandfather and he loves it! He has a wonderful time trying to play it, and loves to listen to us play it as well. I'm a not a harmonica player, but recommend this item to anyone that loves music or has children that do.
Great Value and Great Beginners Harmonica WORTH IT!

Bought this harmonica for 5 year old daughter. My husband bought one that cost more from somewhere else and they are just about the same. Except his cost more and his is an off brand. Hohner is a well trusted, valued and it will last. It has a very nice, smooth sound. My daughter LOVES it. I like it as well. The cheaper the harmonica the harder you have to blow to get a tune. You can achieve a note by blowing very softly so you don't have to worry about hyperventilating. My two year old can play it, if that tells you anything. I definitely would recommend this harmonica to anyone.
Great musical instrument for 3 year olds

I was looking for a portable musical instrument that would keep my musically inclined 3 year old occcupied and maintain his interest in music. Since drums were a non-option and a key board was bulky, this was a good and optimal option. If I had any doubts about the buy, they were dispelled the moment it was unwrapped. My son is having a wonderful time with it. He loves the fact that he can take it along and handle it without any adult intervention.
Good for a kid

Bought this for my 3 year old son for Christmas. He likes to keep it in his mouth and breathe through it. Perfect for me, now I always know where in the house he is, because I can hear him coming and going.

Got these for our little ones to play. They are just a year old, and they love them. Easy for them to hold, can pocket and take anywhere, keeps them entertained and engaged, and feeds their love of music. An excellent first instrument!

I got this harmonica for my boyfriend and he loves it. Granted, we don't know much about harmonicas, but it doesn't appear to have any problems and is very fun to play.

Santa brought these two of our kids last Christmas (2 and 4) and they are super fun and easy to play and have withstood months of 'testing'- you know, like the 'what does a harmonica do under water test' and the 'will this break if I jump off the couch onto it' test. Durable, reliable, great harmonica.
Not bad

This was a great hit with my grandaughter and one of her favorite Christmas toys. For the price I am not worried if she loses it. It appears well made for the price. It is a great toy to help build musical appreceation.
Good Stocking Stuffer

I received one of these recently, and have concluded that the Bluesband would be a good harmonica for any beginner to start with - especially a child. It has a nice sound, but my hunch is that it won't hold up for very long. However, for the price, you probably can't go wrong. I've tinkered with it enough to realize that I do want "a good one." (After doing some online research and comparison, I'll probably get a Hohner Golden Melody.) Nevertheless, this product turned out to be a good "stocking stuffer" for me.
Nice starter.

A good starter harmonica for a child. Noting bad or spectacular about it. Makes a good gift for those kids that love the noise.
Great for Toddler

I bought this Harmonica for my 2 1/2 year old, after he saw his 4 year old cousin playing a Harmonica and really wanted one. I'm not a musician (and neither is my son - yet) but the Harmonica does sound pretty good to our untrained ears, and it stands up pretty well to the abuses of a Toddler!

Not a bad harp for a beginner. I recently bought it (my first harmonica) and within a week blew out two reeds. Has good sound, just make sure not to continually blow or draw really hard on one hole.
Cheap but plays

It's cheap, made in China, not constant build quality (I ordered 2 and they are build and sound different - both not very good). But - for 5 dollars would you get more?
