You can even select from numerous different camera angles to watch the full performance or to zoom in so that you can see a close up of either his right or left hand for a better view of his technique.
This is not the ideal instruction book for everyone looking to learn how to play the acoustic guitar, simply because Al Petteway's influences are interesting and unique. However, if you have an interest in Celtic music, folk music, blues music or music with an R&B influence, Al Petteway provides excellent instruction using music from his most recent CD. All of his music has been transcribed note by note, and you can follow along on the helpful CD/DVD to watch him play the music as you read along in the book. If you have an interest in this specific music style, then you will definitely enjoy what this book has to offer. As part of the Acoustic Master class series of book and CD/DVD combinations, this is an excellent addition to the library of anyone who has an interest in unique influences, Celtic music, or Al Petteway's unique acoustic guitar style.
