Buying a brand new acoustic guitar is a process that can be intimidating, especially if you have never purchased an acoustic guitar before. 3 - Fender CD-140S - This is a lower cost Fender acoustic guitar. The Fender CD-140S features a solid spruce top, and the back and sides are laminated mahogany. Considering the top made out of solid spruce, the Fender CD-140S is an acoustic instrument that can be really attractive to beginning players.

4 - Takamine G-340 - The Takamine G-340 is a beginning model Takamine guitar that features a laminated top made from spruce. Although it is clearly not on the same level as many of the other available Takamine guitars, the general consensus here is still that you can get a pretty good bank for your buck when you are buying a Takamine G-340.

5 - Epiphone DR-100 - The Epiphone DR-100 features a top made from spruce, and its sides and back are made from mahogany. This guitar is typically capable of being found for a rather inexpensive price, which makes it a particularly attractive guitar for beginning players. Most people consider the Epiphone DR-100 to be a purely beginner instrument, so it is important to know that you may need to trade up relatively quickly in the future.

Different acoustic guitar options offer different looks and feels. To get the right acoustic guitar, pick up each of these instruments and see how it feels in your hands. Don't buy the prettiest guitar if it doesn't feel right being played.
